Welcome to the second edition of www.mmc93.fanspace.com.
This web Site belongs to the Mysore Medical College – Batch of year 1993 (MMC-93). An attempt has made to make the SAMHITA online. You will find in this web site Possible e-mail addresses of MMC-93, possible contact phone nos, birthdays and other latest trivia. This web site aims to work as a platform for interaction amongst the MMC-93 by way of its MMC-93 e-groups, see below. All mail may be posted to the MMC-93 e-mail, see below. A futuristic possibility is to have a link to the indiatimes.com messenger service so as to enable more simplistic interaction among the various e-mail portals. What follows is a brief account of the journey of MMC-93 beginning with the wonderful days at the medical school to the present.

ONCE UPON A TIME.....
On an October morning of 1993, there came together a group of students, hoping to be doctors of tommorow. It was a strange amalgam of students from the length and breadth of the country. All of them a little exited, a little anxious, huddled under one roof-the dissection hall. As the unique concept of "Tablemates" developed, the drama unfolded. Anxious moments disappeared, everybody made friends (some spouses). Dissection hours became "muching" sessions, chemistry began to evolve in Biochem labs, and many a frogs turned out to be Princess Charming (and vice-versa). Life was limited to Pond Ornithology. The MICRO-world full of PATHOS and the drugs of choice-CRAMMOMYCIN and SLOGOMYCIN were popularly prescribed and they had their toxic effects too. The journey through the eyes & ears was interesting & yet they knew that PREVENTION of diseases could leave them jobless. Now they will be incising through SURGERY, deciphering heart beats in MEDICINE, bringing new life into the world in OBG. Finally they stand, inspired and united, ready to step into the big world to face new challenges but always carrying with them...those everlasting MOMENTS they shared together.
